Internet Marketing Sucks

Internet marketing sucks! I mean it really sucks! You have long hours. You have the rejection from people, you have the nagging fear of falling into the dreaded trap that 97% of ALL internet marketers fail. It is a bunch of stress that makes you sick.
You start out by trying all of these different tricks and techniques and you get nowhere. So you buy another program praying that this is the one that will work. After all the person that sold it to you is making millions! So you say to yourself that if this guy is making millions and I copy exactly what he is doing then I should be able to do it! WRONG!
This is very common trap that so many internet marketers fall in to. What you have to realize is a couple of things. When I was looking at programs I realized that so many of them were just selling dreams and had no real product behind the fantastic packaging. The other problem is that if this person was making millions they probably have more than one product that they are selling and the other is that they probably have an ENORMOUS list. They are probably sending out a couple hundred thousand emails and getting a few purchases. They can do this over and over each month.
So now here is the problem. You have to find a real product and you have to get a list of people that are willing to buy your product before you go broke promoting your product. This is a very easy trap to fall in to.
First thing that you have to do is find a real product. Not some product that just allows you to sell that DREAM or product to the next person. This is crucial! The next thing you have to do is you have got to be focused. The internet can create wealth over night but it takes a lot of work to get yourself to the point when you wake up one day and you have that overnight success. There is a lot of ground work that needs to be put in place so this can happen.
You also need to be real and set your sites realistically. If you are new to internet marketing you are probably not going to jump out of the gate and make $100,000 your first month in the business. Take baby steps and set yourself on the right path and don't spend a ton of money.
Finally, set your goals. Where do you want to be financially? What zip code do you want to live in? What do you want to provide for your family? What charities do you want to give to? Basically what do you want to do with your life? Find your goals, write them down and post them where you can see them. Then stick to your plan that is going to get you to your goals!
If you want to see what has set me on the right path and has given me all of the tools that I needed in order to be successful online then please check out http://myglobalrevolution.com. This has changed my life and I know it can do the same for you.

Online Business - 3 Best Ideas For Financial Independence

Internet marketing is not just about selling your own products on your own websites. There are hundreds of ways to make good money with internet marketing, but the question is: how do you think of them? How do you implement them? And how do you minimize time and money wasted, not to mention scam artists offers?
For those new to internet marketing, here are three great ideas for getting started.
Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is simply promoting someone else's product or service through your website, blog or article. You mention the product, provide a link to the product's website, and if someone makes a purchase after clicking on your link, you receive a commission. An even more lucrative strategy that will make you stand out from other affiliates is to offer a "bonus," such as an eBook of specific tips, if someone buys the product via your link.
Create Your Own Products
Create and sell your own products like eBooks or videos. This method is fairly cost-effective if you sell digital, not physical, products because you don't store or ship anything - everything is done online. You can promote your products in several ways such as via your website, other websites (have affiliate marketers work for you) or through SEO (Search Engine Optimized) articles posted on the internet.
Market Offline Businesses Online
Most offline businesses still don't understand the advantages of online marketing to increase sales. Having a snazzy-looking company website is not all it takes. Since this is an ongoing service, you can potentially make good money by servicing just a handful of good clients.
But even before you get started on internet marketing....
It is important to remember that a desperate mindset is not the way to succeed! As internet marketer James Schramko emphasizes, you make a lot of money by not focusing on money; focus instead on content and value and the belief that you can succeed.
  • Think like an entrepreneur, not merely like a skilled worker. Delegate. Oversee. And take your business - and it is a business - seriously.
  • Do the right things rather than do things right. Perfectionism can hold you back. Remember, you can always refine things later.
  • You have to spend money to make money. This saying is a cliché for a reason! To succeed in business you must spend money on books, courses, domain names and promotion.
  • Give as much as you need. Always offer the best service and the highest value to your clients or potential clients; it will come back to you tenfold.
  • Find a mentor. Instead of stumbling around trying to figure things out for yourself, seek out a mentor and business coach. It doesn't have to cost a lot.
In fact, coaching forums can be a terrific way to learn, ask questions, gather ideas and get feedback. The three business ideas I mentioned at the beginning are all discussed on an internet marketing private coaching forum created by world-renowned internet marketer James Schramko.  One key to keep in mind when looking for a coach and mentor: s/he should be very successful with their non-coaching business in an ongoing way in order for them to be worthy of your time, money and trust.  Find out more about one of the most valuable internet marketing coaching forums and get more ideas for successful business. to find out more visit: http://www.successupermarket.com/blog/ideas-for-business/3-best-ideas-for-online-business/

You Don't Have to Be Annoying to Start Your Own Internet Business

I Could Hardly Wait! Today was the day for Two Thousand Five Hundred dollarsof diet pills and powders to come to our home. My wife was on the phone telling me that the UPS truck had come to the house today and left plenty of boxes of our new Power Packed diet programs. The plan was to sell them myself, and get the funds rolling in my new business venture.  Being at the house and putting everything together was now my goal. I would start my own program tomorrow and see some results then getting rid of my inventory and making a profit would happen quickly. I had so much fun putting it all in order and where ever I went I had my new weight loss kits with me. If I saw you and you looked friendly I started telling you how great this stuff was, and did just like my up-line said I should do. Along with doing that I lined up every body I knew for the same reason.
A Few Months Later...
I though about how everything had failed and would remind myself about how lousy I was as a salesman. My wife (God bless her) did not stoop to saying it, but her eyes and actions clearly told me, "I told you so." Let's just say that for the next two years we were not short on dietary supplements.  Another thing that really had me stumped was thatonce I had gone through my warm market with no results, my up-line was gone. They were nowhere to be found. They were looking for fresh meat not an educated Network Marketer.
Then along came Magnetic Sponsoring with Mike saying that if he dumped a couple of tons of the best vitamins in front of my house (I think of it personally) and I still wouldn't make any money.
He has it right, doesn't he?  What do you say we go over how things should have happened. Suppose I decide to contact someone in a company that markets the newest heath juice. I call the number I find and I am being told what is being sold but I am surprised by a question I didn't expect:
Rep: "My friend may I ask how it is that you learned about me and this company?
Me: "Not at all it was in a TV/magazine ad."
Rep: "Is there a particular kind of marketing you specialize in?
Me: "Why are you asking me about marketing?
Rep: "I just wanted to know where your at." The fact is that some do succeed by talking to their warm-market...i.e. friends and family. However it will not work this way for the majority of people. It is best to learn lead generation through smart marketing efforts, and have people hunting you down for more information."
Me: "I'm not sure what your getting at, leads? marketing?"
Rep: "I really do want to see you succeed in our business, and you most certainly are able to! But understanding that promoting the company can bring your business to a premature death.
Me: "How?"
Rep: "It was you curiosity about me and my company that had you looking for me. I didn't try to find you, you came to me. Do you think chances to make it would be better if centered on that same principle? What if you had people coming to you, inquiring about you and your company? Do you think that generating an income would follow?"
Me: "Yes I do."
Rep: "It's good that you see what I'm saying."It is not the company or the products you need to market it is You and your ability to Market. Your first order of business is to read Magnetic Sponsoring."
I would be curious to know just when I would have been making the money if I had only known about this in my 30's. It is so nice to market and promote correctly and my wife no longer wants to say. "I told you so."
Learning how to start your own internet business the right way doesn't have to be a painful thing. The 7-figure earners all know that it simply a matter of knowing a Lead Generation Strategy that works that crazy. Check us out as StroutSpace.com.

Complete Geekdom Reigns in This Internet Marketing Niche

These dudes are geeked out totally and completely.... There is no coming back. They've od'ed on the acid that is vintage computing.  This is a great example of a very specific Niche Market. You would need to do some amount of involved keyword research before exploiting it. It would be very difficult for an IM'er, not interested in vintage computing to compete in this market. The sites ranking for the below keywords are mostly sites and blogs created and maintained by individuals with a passion for vintage computing, not just the hardware, but the concept. They take it seriously, and it's more than just a hobby to them.... They are indeed, purveyors of forgotten technologies antiquated by time and purpose. They find passion in vintage "laptops" weighing over 20 pounds.  Let's just say it's a very specific niche for the brave internet marketer to explore.
However, what makes it interesting for the IM'er is the data we can pull from Google on this niche:
buy vintage computer=1.3million broad/ 24,700 exact
order vintage computer online=4.8million broad/0 exact
vintage computer washington d.c.=258k broad/1 exact
buy antique computer=too narrow, antique desks populate this keyword, not antique pc's
buy antique pc=1.9million broad/1 exact
buy vintage mac=3.4million/3300 exact
Although most of the sites ranking on the top SERP's tend to be ones run by those very same geeks, what's interesting is that not many are using long tail keyword phrases in their SEO/SEM strategy. While it would be foolish to compete using broad match in this niche, there are some very attractive long tail's just waiting to be exploited.  Take the keyword "buy vintage mac". Enough people are searching this keyword for 3300 other competing pages to be present using that specific keyword phrase. Who would want to buy a vintage mac.... who would search for that term? Someone with money ready to buy one for whatever their reason may be, that's who. If you consider yourself an IM'er, then it should be no problem whatsoever ranking for this long tail keyword.  What could an IM'er do with this little bit of keyword research?
1) Use the specific keyword phrase "buy antique mac" on a blog devoted to, of course, "antique mac's". If it's a site you're hosting and not a free web 2.0 property, you can add in eBay Auctions to your Website with this little gem from http://www.phpbay.com it'll scour ebay for you and dish out relevant auctions on that very same keyword. Throw in some video of vintage mac tv commercials, if you can find them, to further entice prospective customers.... And a pair of eyes is just one click away from becoming a customer.
2) Research the keyword further and dig into sites with tips on how to buy vintage mac's, what to look out for when buying vintage mac's, vintage mac replacement parts, vintage mac accessories, maybe even vintage mac magazines. Hand over your research ideas to a ghostwriter and have a "How to Buy Vintage Mac's" ebook written. And sell it.
3) Build an email list of devoted "buy vintage mac" customers and send out a monthly newsletter full of quality content with value to them, then exploit the list occasionally by running lateral sales and services promotions.
4) Build as many Squidoo, wetpaint, weebly, zimbio, etc. properties as you can related to this topic and use them as feeder sites to your money page.
Will you get rich off this niche? Probably not. But you could exploit it to the extent that it generates an easy $50 - $200 in sales a month without really putting that much effort into it, allowing it to be yet another stream of revenue flowing to you.

How to Find Out If You Product Will Sell

Would you like to know how to check how many times your keyword term has been used by online browsers in a month? Would you like to know if the product you want to sell as affiliate will actually find some buyers?  There are several ways to give you an idea about the previous sales of a given product, and help you to know if you have a good chance or not to sell the product yourself.  Please note, however, that there isn't a 100% definite recipe to know in advance if a product will sell or not. If there were, all the companies would use it and their stock would be sold out every single day. These techniques are used by internet marketers to have a fair estimate and let them know how a product has done so far.  The first thing you need to do is gather some relevant keywords based on the name and type of product that you want to sell. You are going to use those keyword for the site where you are going to host the product. It could be a website, a blog, a Squidoo lens or a landing page. It doesn't matter what platform you are going to use at this time; what really matters are the focused keywords you are going to use to be able to stand the competition as well as represent your product best.  To find out about what are the best keywords to use, you need to run them in a keyword search tool and look how many times that keyword phrase or "term" has been used in a search on a monthly basis. This will let you know if your "search term" (keyword) has any search volume (if people are using that term to find what you are selling). If there isn't any search term volume, you might want to change you keyword phrase with terms that are more searched for. You need to repeat the process until you find the right keyword term with a decent search volume.

This is the very first thing you should do when looking to selling a product.  If you want to sell a digital product from ClickBank, you should check what sells right from the ClickBank site. There is a number called the "gravity number" which is the percentage of sales for that month. The higher the number the better the sales. There is also a "referred number" that will show you the affiliate participation. This number indicates the percentage of sales generated by other affiliates selling the product. For example if the number is 80 it means that 80% of the sales were generated by affiliates and 20% by the merchant.  As you look at those numbers, remember also that the higher the number, the higher the completion you will run into.  Following these simple technique checks will help you to focus on products that sell and be aware of your competition.  Sylviane Nuccio is an Article Marketing Expert at Wealthy Affiliate where we teach Internet Marketers to succeed online.
