I Could Hardly Wait! Today was the day for Two Thousand Five Hundred dollarsof diet pills and powders to come to our home. My wife was on the phone telling me that the UPS truck had come to the house today and left plenty of boxes of our new Power Packed diet programs. The plan was to sell them myself, and get the funds rolling in my new business venture. Being at the house and putting everything together was now my goal. Rep: "My friend may I ask how it is that you learned about me and this company?
Me: "Not at all it was in a TV/magazine ad."
Rep: "Is there a particular kind of marketing you specialize in?
Me: "Why are you asking me about marketing?
Rep: "I just wanted to know where your at." The fact is that some do succeed by talking to their warm-market...i.e. friends and family. However it will not work this way for the majority of people. It is best to learn lead generation through smart marketing efforts, and have people hunting you down for more information."
Me: "I'm not sure what your getting at, leads? marketing?"
Rep: "I really do want to see you succeed in our business, and you most certainly are able to! But understanding that promoting the company can bring your business to a premature death.
Me: "How?"
Rep: "It was you curiosity about me and my company that had you looking for me. I didn't try to find you, you came to me. Do you think chances to make it would be better if centered on that same principle? What if you had people coming to you, inquiring about you and your company? Do you think that generating an income would follow?"
Me: "Yes I do."
Rep: "It's good that you see what I'm saying."It is not the company or the products you need to market it is You and your ability to Market. Your first order of business is to read Magnetic Sponsoring."
